We are a  New York State Office of Children and Family Services licensed Children's Daycare and Early Education Center

 serving Deposit and the surrounding area for 19 years.

  • OUR STAFF

  • Group Teachers have their Child Development Associate Certification.

  • All staff have completed the Office of Children and Family Services required trainings in Early Childhood Education Program through Rockefeller College.

  • All staff have completed the in service course through Rockefeller College of 15 hours in their first 6 months of employment and 30 hours every two years of further employment.

  • Our staff works with Delaware Opportunities for continued training.

  • All staff are certified in First Aid and CPR.

  • Select staff are certified to administer medication.

  • FACILITIES

  • Our building has all the modern amenities and SAFEGUARDS you would expect for your child and is HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE. 

  • We have safe access to the PLAYGROUND & other outdoor recreational areas.

  • There are three CLASSROOMS, infant, toddler, and pre-school which are fully equipped and meet OCFS standards.

  • We maintain a CLEAN, SAFE, and HEALTHY environment following CDC, NYSED included in the tuition fee.  Our meals are prepared according to the New York State Department of Health nutritional requirements and include BREAKFAST, LUNCH and afternoon SNACKS  provided daily which meet the NYSED guidelines.

PARENT INFORMATION on FEES AND ENROLLMENT

We are open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5:30 pm except for National Holidays.

  • A 2 day minimum enrollment is required.  No daily enrollment is provided.

  • If your child is normally scheduled to attend on a holiday you will be required to pay for that day.

  • The holidays are defined in the section Hours of Operations and Holidays in the Parent Handbook.

  • For Children in Preschool classroom who are attending Pre-K at DCS, a half day rate will be charged as per rate schedule for hours in attendance of less than 5 1/2 hours.  Any hours over 5 1/2 at center will be assessed as full day at double the half day rate or $70.00. 

  • Our teacher/child ratios need to be maintained at all times, so it is important that you pick your child up at the appropriate scheduled time.  Please discuss with Director is an issue arises.

  • A 10% Family discount will be applied for when more than one child is enrolled from a family.

  • We accept DSS payments.

  • We enroll children from 6 weeks old to 5 years of age.
